And then, after my one final I have to go to the South Island again and do the entire Abel Tasman Coastal Track. And kayak the Marlborough Sounds. And go snowboarding in July on Mt. Ruapehu. It's going to be very very busy...

WOWEEEE! It sure has been a long time since I posted. So, just for the sake of relieving my sagging conscience, and because I'm most definitely PROCRASTINATING!, I figured I would actually write something.

In case y'all didn't know, I'm currently in Hamilton, New Zealand, kicking it with da Kiwi homies. Learning all about silver ferns, gum boots, buzzy bee, and LotR (even though I already know everything about it =B). So far I haven't visited very many places, as I have been busy with schooling type activities. However, I have been to the main surfing beach in this area, to a hot water river (aint it awesome?!), to Taupo where I finally jumped out a plane, and to Tongariro Natl Park where I hiked for 6 straight hours in bad weather with 40km/hr winds and got nice and muddy. Aren't you jealous? :D

Anyway, the school break (which I want to call Spring Break, but its fall here) is coming up in a week so there are lots of assignments due that I've been leaving for the last minute. The one interesting assignment is from my video class, in which I have to connect an alarm clock that say 5:34am to a CD on a kitchen table, all in a 5 minute clip with no editing or sound. So of course my group decided that we're going to do a terrible B-movie horror clip something like The Ring, except that the scary murderer thing is going to come out of the stereo. HAHAHAHA. It should be really funny :)

I miss everyone back in the States and in Spain. (RIP to the victims of the Madrid bombing ;_; ) I hope you're all having a great time doing whatever it is that you do best. And if you feel really motivated, you can write to me at ck28@waikato.ac.nz and tell me how you're doing! :O Peace out.

I finally managed to download the rest of the Zim episodes that I've missed. Season 2 isn't nearly as funny as the first season, but GIR still kicks ass. "I was the turkey all along!" My new favorite flash animations: iloveegg! Sooooo cute. And this flash is cool too. Last, but still damn rad is the harmonica boy link!

I can't wait to leave for New Zealand. I'm beginning to feel as if I don't want to come back or see certain people ever again. I'm jealous of so many people for the quality of friendships that they enjoy. So, a change is in order.

Since I am skipping out on my Dibujo Anatomico class, and since I have been shirking my blogging duties, I will try to remedy one of these two situations. Guess which one it is! I've noticed that it has been more than a month since I last wrote an entry. However, I still do not have that much to say. I will endeavour to fill some of this empty space.

I can now say that I have been to TWO different countries outside of the US. We took a horribly long bus ride to Madrid, then a horribly long train ride to Lisbon, Portugal. Then we just wandered around the city and looked at all the touristy sites. The sidewalks were gorgeous! Little stone cubes of different colors were placed into pretty designs to make the sidewalks everywhere in the city. I was impressed. :D And then I took a bus to Evora, to see the Chapel of Bones, which was awesome and freaky all at the same time. I have pictures, but they don't do it justice, and I can't upload them. I think Spain is far far far behind the US in terms of technology. We're talking Win95 and 3.5" floppy drives folks. Anyway, we finished our trip by taking a bus back home, which took from 6:15am to 11pm. :O

My english has been suffering immensely. The more spanish I learn, the more my english... sucks, for lack of a more suitable word. Everything that comes out of my mouth is spanglish. I fear that I will be unintelligible to everyone soon.

Ok, I'm already bored of writing this crap. So I'm going to go eat. Latez, yo. :P

Things are starting to look up in mi mundo de España. I moved to a new place which is cheaper, and I have a huge room and cool roommates. I met a guy who knows some good places to eat. I finally decided to stop being in beginning Spanish. =B

I cant wait for all the Spanish students to start classes. I am going to try to sit in on an animation class and a life drawing class. We will see if my Spanish is good enough to enable me to talk to the professors. :O

I still havent bought a cell phone because I am so indecisive. :(

Just waiting for my class to staaaaart. I´m in Spain, guys! Hola de España! :D The food here sucks so far, but I haven´t eaten any Basque food yet. If I wasn´t too skinny before, I will be soon. It seems like I´ve been in Spain for a long time already. I´ve been to Madrid, Toledo, Segovia, and Bilbao. The town I live in, Getxo, is really pretty. I live about 10 minute walk from the beach and surrounded by green hills. BTW, cuesta means hill, which is why Cuesta Dr is called Cuesta Dr. :D

I haven't updated this thing in a long long time. Perhaps I've become somewhat disillusioned with putting the boring events of my days online for no one to see. All I know is this: I'm leaving for Spain in a little over a day. Excited, yes. Nervous, yes. :) Fitting enough crap for 3.5 months into 1 large suitcase and 1 backpack is a huge bitch.

My visits to SLO and LA were fun because I actually got to see some friends! In other news related to my LA trip, I met this "cool" guy Edwin that has a very similar music history to mine and told me listen to Squarepusher. Likewise, I told him to listen to Moonraker. We are happy music campers. :D :D :D

It's sad that Snoop Dogg's ghetto show has been cancelled. Ah well, R.I.P. Doggy Fizzle Televizzle. :(

I love days off. I tried to watercolor...not too sure about the results. :( I've also been watching a lot of FOX. I know its bad for me, but I'm addicted. Banzai is funny ;_; I'm also addicted to that stupid Paradise Hotel show and I dont know why. Today I also realized that I am terrible at black and white photography. I'm guessing I'm pretty awful at photography altogether. Go me! At least people are actually bidding on some of my crap.

I watched my bootleg copy of LotR: The Two Towers today, again, because I'm a nerd. :D This makes so much sense that a lot of stupid people just can't quite understand it. Even though Ben probably doesn't need help naming his emo band, I thought this was... cool? I saw Pirates of the Carribean today!!!!!! :D :D :D Its my new favorite movie. I've been waiting sooooo long for them to make a movie based on the ride. Also, they showed a preview of a movie based on the ride The Haunted Mansion! Wheeeee! Go Disney theme ride movies! I haven't been to Disneyland in such a long time. Lately I've been working a lot, and every time I go to work it gets harder and harder to deal with the fact that I hate working. And I really really hate waking up early in the morning. Recently I've decided to start another "blog" that will contain all of my miscellaneous ranting because I need to get it out somewhere and everyone I know is tired of hearing about things that they don't want to think about or are different from the "normal college position". I also got pissed off today because one of my coworkers kept telling me that polo isn't a sport because there isn't any "athleticism" involved. What a load of crap from someone who has never played the game. >:O I can't wait to leave the States for a while.

On a better note, I went out hiking at Jack's Peak with Ajen today. That was fun and I'm crossing my fingers for one decent picture in my roll of film. Black and white photography is a bitch. Also, Christianity rocks. Hehehe. And some PG-13 rated fun. Hopefully one day soon I will change the layout of this blog because I'm bored of it already. ^_^

Today I saw all sorts of cool "wild" animals and took pictures of them. Hopefully some/one of them will turn out alright. I saw 3 African elephants, 2 Asian elephants, 3 mountain lions, 2 Siberian tigers, a lynx, a red-butted monkey, a lion, 2 lionesses, a porcupine, 2 lemurs, a cheetah, a leopard, and 2 other small cats that I don't remember the names of. It was fun, except for all the annoying, whiny kids that were on the tours. God, I hate bratty little kids...and their incompetent parents. >:O

I get to go play polo today!!! Wheeee! I haven't been going because of all the midterms and the hotness. But today thats all going to change. I'm going to go out and get my ass whooped...on a horse. I actually did some exercise yesterday as well, which doesn't happen very often. I went swimming with Morgan and Sarah, and then went to the batting cages to visit Miles. I realized that hitting 50 mph baseballs hurts like hell.

I wish there was more Zim in the world. I think that it would be a better place if Nickelodeon had not canceled it.

Hopefully this summer I will be able to play my Enter the Matrix game to my hearts content. We "hacked" into and got the multiplayer mode, and it just so happens that there is a ridiculous level where you can fight as CARS in an alley. You hvaen't seen anything until you've seen Firebird Man and Policecar Man kicking and punching with their stubby tires. I can't wait until Soul Calibur 2 comes out for my dear GC. :D

Well. I decided to start a blog/journal/diary thingie for the following reasons:

1. I'm bored out of my headhole.
2. All the cool people have them. *whine*
3. I wanted to do some computer graphic design but I am too lazy to make a website.

Also, I hate my computer chair. Today I decided to move my monitor to my nightstand so that I could sit/lay on my bed instead. The only problem is that I'll have to move it back before I go to sleep. Ahhh...life.
